Advice on a new telescope (Newtonian Reflector perhaps)? - newtonian reflector telescope sweet telescope!

Hi Folks, I'm a little novice amateur astronomer with a telescope asmallish Telescope. It is very unstable and difficult to find things. I am desperate to get some nice views of the planets (Jupiter, I have achieved so far only), nebulae and galaxies. I saw a large aspect Newtonian reflector on eBay, which was 250 pounds ($ 500). The state and the installers seemed far superior to me.

Any advice for making the purchase of something what I want?
