I bought this drive and the media stopped working recently. The format has been together with my PS3, and hence, Iomega is not the question. From what I have some online research I think the power has failed, as the camera clicked Whne done have put a couple of times on and off. My question is: Would it be useful to the field and try to use it as an internal drive? that this abuse of the need for an external power source, and thus solve the problem?
